As we all like to start off the week in a positively healthy way and I was craving blueberries I wanted to try out this simple delight. This smoothie bowl was made with 2 frozen and 1 cup of blueberries with a splash of coconut milk and 1 tspn of maca powder. Topped with crushed walnut, brazil nut and raw cacao nibs.
2 frozen bananas
1 cup of blueberries
1/3 cup of coconut milk (plus an extra 2 tsp for the swirls)
1 tsp maca powder
2 brazil nuts
1 tsp cacao nibs
Mix all of the smoothie ingredients in the blender until smooth. These measures give a fairly thin textured smoothie so thicken by using less liquid or more fruit than stated.
To achieve the swirls, tale a teaspoon of coconut milk and trace, using a toothpick to draw the pattern through the smoothie. Top with crushed nuts and cacao nibs.
