Confidence Boosters

“You May have times in your life when you don’t feel confident in everything you do. but you do have the choive to choice to choose confidence and draw on positive experiences you have had. Here are some confidence boosters for you to choose from.

Visualise- visualising and the stepping into a fabulous moment can change any feelings on anxiety into those of excitement which will make you fe more confident

Breathe deeply- close your eyes and breathe in deeply and slowly through your nose for a count of four. slowly breathe out through your mouth for a count of four. repeat several times while focusing on your breathing as you begin to feel calm, relaxed and revitalised

Stand tall- whenever i walk into a room, or on to a television set, i check my posture. stand tall with you head held high, and shoulders back. A great way to relax your shoulder is by slowly and gently rotting them by lifting them up, back down, without any jerky movements, it also helps release any tension.

Simile- putting a big smile on your face will help you feel and look so much more confident. 

Set achievable goals- know what you can do by way of planning, preparation and practice. Planning your days, week, month and year in advance will enable you to organise you work time and bring some balance into your life. Having me time to relax and do what you love doing is an essential part of balancing your lifestyle. Plan your times to go to the gym, theatre, cinema and for holidays. Make time for your gamily and friends and have a realistic and achievable work.life balance.

Change negative thoughts- choose to change thoughts, feelings, sights and sounds. Shrink a negative situation by draining it of its colour. If someone, a situation of memory is upsetting you, discover your strengths and feel more confident and in control by wearing them. focus on their colour draining away. see them become black and white and less significant. Hear their voices become quieter. feel them becoming less important.

Multiply positive thoughts – then think above a more positive exciting situation full of colour: make it bigger and brights with lots of noise and fun. Double and then triple this amazing image and anchor this moment by squeezing your thumb and fore finger. This powerful tool is a fabulous confident booster in any situation. if a negative thought comes into your head imagine seeing a red traffic light in front of you and tell yourself STOP!! change it to a green traffic light for “GO!” and change negative thoughts to positive ones in an instant. ”
