A Foodie’s Journal Eats London’s Journey #4

Lawyer by day, foodie by night. You’ve already met Ash from Eatslondon.com, and know that he shares with us the most delicious restaurants that are a must try. His website Eatslondon.com is dedicated to food reviews from the food capital of the world, (London) and here he is today sharing his secret with us.

December highlight is new Turkish restaurant on Baker Street, Yosma. Large sharing plate menu split into cold meze, hot starters, mangal and clay oven dishes. Highlight, unusually, being the dessert – the Kunefe – a pastry and baked mozzarella dish with lemon syrup and pistachios. Insanely good.

New casual Indian restaurant in Covent Garden, Cinnamon Bazaar, from the people behind the Cinnamon Club offers an all day menu. A worthy addition the fast-growing quality Indian dining offering in a London.

And finally a true classic. Top quality steakhouse – it’s hard to beat Hawksmoor (though Goodman’s is a worthy contender), and i was recently reminded of how good they are as I dug into their 1kg Porterhouse. The Air Street branch is particularly good if you are partial to seafood too.

A huge thank you to Ashley and don’t forget to check out his website, Eatslondon.com.
