If you are going to party like a rock star, you are going to need rejuvenating to get your head straight for the week ahead. In the heart of South Manchester, home to The Real Housewives of Cheshire, you’ll find Hale Country Club and Spa. Set in Hale’s answer to Wisteria Lane, it has everything you need to really relax and detoxify.
This picturesque get away is in the most perfect location, even the facilities and changing areas are immaculate. They offer both club and country membership. The exclusive Club membership is the premium way to be a member of this decadent gym and spa. The Country Club offers a 5* experience, from the plush changing area to the private champagne bar – every inch of Hale Country Club
has been designed to astound.
There is an outside area which is dictated by the British weather, although there is always access to the pools which are heated all year round. The fuchsia pink sun loungers and decretive flower arrangements give you the feeling that you could be anywhere in the world. I was lucky enough to enjoy the flash heat wave over Easter bank holiday and was living it up enjoying a cabana pool side. It even came with a bottle of club wine and a selection of tropical fruit.
The food is scrumdiddlyumtious it would stand up to any leading competitor. The menu is inspiring and don’t let the fancy names and lingo scare you. Everything I have eaten there has been full of flavour, colour and taste. Experiencing the Japanese inspired menu and inventive favourites such as the “Playboy California” roll, really pushes the boundaries from average to exceptional. The presentation is second nature and the service is flawless.
Upstairs is where the real magic happens you are simply spoilt for choice. There’s an infinity hot tub , zen steam room with cold shower, salt steam, fire-and-ice, sauna and heated beds which over look the Cheshire country side. This is the part that makes you look and feel brand new.
